Preventative Teeth Cleaning

Preventative teeth cleanings are done with your pet awake! A specially trained technician from Pet Dental Services comes to our clinic once a month to provide this service. The service includes the following:

• Medical and behavioral history

• Pre-exam – physical and oral

• Treatment plan

• Supra-gingival scaling

• Sub-gingival scaling and curettage

• Post dental probing

• Machine polish

• Oral rinse

• Post-check and charting

• Veterinarian and staff communication

• Client education

A current exam is required to find out if your pet would be a good candidate for this procedure. Preventative teeth cleanings take about 30-45 minutes. We recommend leaving your pet with us but it can also be done while you wait.
